Department & Location: Family, Trowbridge

About Naomi:

As a Chartered Legal Executive and Team Leader in the family law department, I advise clients on divorce, separation and financial matters.

With close to 10 years’ experience in the legal sector, I am known for providing clear, practical advice during what can often be a difficult and uncertain time. I focus on helping clients understand their position and move forward with confidence.

My practice areas include:

• I specialise in family law, advising clients on divorce and separation, financial settlements, and arrangements for children. I have extensive experience negotiating financial agreements, preparing matters for court where necessary, and assisting clients in reaching practical and constructive resolutions.

• I regularly deal with a range of financial matters, including property division, pensions, and ongoing financial arrangements. I also assist with the preparation of separation agreements and consent orders to formalise agreed outcomes.

• As Team Leader of the department, I play a key role in managing and supporting the team, ensuring clients receive a high standard of service and clear advice throughout their matter.

Examples of my work:

• I have assisted clients in reaching financial settlements following separation, successfully negotiating outcomes that avoid the need for contested court proceedings and provide long-term clarity.

• I have supported clients through complex financial remedy matters involving property, pensions, inheritance, and ongoing financial commitments, guiding them through each stage of the process and achieving practical and workable outcomes.

• I have advised clients at an early stage of separation, helping them understand their legal position and putting appropriate agreements in place to avoid future disputes.

I take a calm, practical and supportive approach recognising that family law matters are often both legally and emotionally challenging. I focus on providing clear, straightforward advice so that clients fully understand their position and the options available to them. Where possible I aim to resolve matters constructively and without unnecessary conflict while ensuring my clients’ interests are protected. My priority is to help clients move forward with clarity and confidence.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and keeping active. I value having a good balance outside of work, which helps me maintain a clear and focused approach when supporting clients through what can often be a challenging time.

What some of Naomi’s client’s have had to say: –

I have had the pleasure of working with Naomi and the team at FSM over the last 18 months. NC helped me through 3 separate family cases, one of which is still ongoing. In both cases, I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. Naomi is a real asset to FSM. Professional at all times, prompt, efficient. She was sympathetic to my situation, yet realistic and always honest with me.

If I ever need the support of a legal team in the future, FSM will be my first port of call. Highly recommended. FSM take note, Naomi has been a star!”    J A, Swindon.

“I cannot speak highly enough of Naomi at Forrester Sylvester Mackett. Naomi provided an exceptional level of professional and compassionate guidance and support and was a reassuring presence throughout a difficult period of time. Naomi’s expert knowledge, attention to detail and tenacity were a huge comfort and her personal approach always ensured I felt up to date and informed on how best to proceed. It was constantly reassuring to have someone with such obvious expertise coupled with a real human touch to assist me and I would recommend Naomi and her colleagues to anyone who requires such services. Thank you Naomi.” R M, Warminster.

“I recently have used Naomi for a family matter and she is absolutely an asset to the firm, she was informative, supportive and empathic throughout the whole process. I highly recommend Naomi and the team” S J, Bristol.
