Graduate Solicitor Apprentice
Department & Location: Private Client, Swindon, Wills, Trusts & Probate

As a member of the Wills, Trusts & Probate team, I provide a compassionate and empathetic approach during what can be a difficult time.

I hold an LLB Law Degree from the University of Reading and am due to qualify as a Solicitor in March 2027. I work under the supervision of Rachel Saunders and have gained valuable experience supporting individuals and families throughout the estate administration process.

My practice areas include:

  • Probate applications and estate administration.
  • Preparing estate tax returns and ensuring the accurate distribution of estate funds in line with beneficiaries entitlements.
  • Drafting Wills.
  • Preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney.

I am known for my calm manner and for explaining legal processes and terminology clearly and accessibly, ensuring clients’ wishes are reflected and their affairs are well organised.

Examples of my work:

  • Preparing a tax return and submitting the payment to HMRC before assisting with a Probate application.
  • Drafting Wills for an elderly couple to meet their wishes of ensuring that their family was taken care of in the future.
  • Preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney documents for a couple to ensure they had someone they trusted to make decisions for them if they were unable to do so for themselves.

Outside work, I enjoy dancing, watching Formula 1 and playing golf with my boyfriend. Most weekends you’ll find me balancing my time between sport and cooking – usually with something sweet in the oven.
