Karina has worked in family law since 1993 and qualified as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEX) in 2006. Karina holds the Law Society Family Law Accreditation, and is a member of Resolution, an organisation committed to a non-confrontational and constructive approach to divorce and family matters.
She is qualified to advise and represent clients on all aspects of family law relating to separation and marriage breakdown, including finances, domestic violence and children matters. She also deals regularly with public law children cases, advising parents in the pre-proceedings process and the subsequent Court process, if the Local Authority go on to issue a Court Application. Karina has completed several professional development courses in family law.
Karina has a sympathetic and supportive approach to her clients, during what can often be a very difficult and emotional time. She will always try to achieve a solution to disputes as swiftly and simply as possible.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family, swimming and reading.
