Each year, staff at Forrester Sylvester Mackett Solicitors put forward nominations and cast a vote for their charity of the year. All fundraising efforts throughout the year then go towards that cause.

For 2020, the firm has chosen Alzheimer’s Society as the charity of the year.

Dementia is the UK’s biggest killer. Someone develops it every three minutes and there’s currently no cure. Alzheimer’s Society is the UK’s leading dementia charity. They campaign for change, fund research to find a cure and support people living with dementia today.

Forrester Sylvester Mackett’s senior partner, Mike Cavalla, said “Dementia is a terrible disease which has affected the families of many of our staff. We are delighted to be supporting such a worthwhile cause. We really look forward to raising as much as possible for Alzheimer’s Society over the coming year.”

The team at Forrester Sylvester Mackett are now putting plans in place to raise as much as possible for the organisation throughout 2020.
