On Sunday 12 May, a group of 17 members of staff and their families walked from Devizes to Bradford-on-Avon, in aid of local community organisation, Jacob’s Ladder.

The sun was shining as the group set off along the Kennet & Avon Canal, and it continued to warm up as the day went on.

Rhiannon Eveleigh, Marketing Manager at Forrester Sylvester Mackett said “We couldn’t have asked for better conditions. Any hotter and it would have been uncomfortable, but it was a beautiful day. The route was great, with amazing wildlife to keep us entertained as we went along – especially the three children who took part.”

The final fundraising amount is yet to be tallied up, but the group hope to have doubled their target of £500.

“We are delighted to have raised so much for such a fantastic local organisation, whilst being out appreciating the beautiful countryside of Wiltshire.” said Rhiannon.
