60 second interview with….Alisha Stephens

Alisha Stephens has recently returned from maternity leave and now works in our Warminster office, in the Wills, Trusts & Probate department.

Name and Job Title
Alisha Stephens – Private Client Executive

Years at FSM Solicitors
8 years. I am basically part of the furniture now.

Key areas of expertise
I specialise in all aspects of Private Client work, dealing with Estates, Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Deputyships, with particular focus on issues affecting older clients.

Favourite thing about the job
My favourite thing about my job is that I am able to assist someone during potentially one of the most difficult times on their lives. I would say a more specific aspect I love is preparing and completing Estate Accounts. The satisfaction when they balance is so rewarding. Not all Private Client lawyers would agree.

Most challenging thing about my job
The most challenging thing about my job is avoiding the kitchen when it is someone’s birthday. We get through a lot of cake.

What do you get up to outside of work?
After returning from maternity leave this September, my life outside of work has changed so much as a new mum of a 14 month old. We enjoy baking, cuddling up to watch a Disney classic and swimming lessons at the weekend. When I am not chasing him around, I enjoy reading a good book.
